Blyth Valley Borough Council
This local authority has already had considerable experience of e-learning and is one of the case studies described on the IDeA website. The Borough Council has over 700 employees and members of the training and organisational development team have several years experience implementing e-learning. In 2000, the team were set up to bring together all the organisation's training and development activities. From the beginning, their starting point has been strategic business and performance goals and to look for training and development solutions that meet these goals.
