Lessons learned


Along the way, they have encountered barriers - many of which are discussed in the ICCA Toolkit. For example, in common with many organisations, they have discovered that, without the full support of the IT department and their services, and limits imposed on usage through bandwidth and access restrictions, they have been less than successful in rolling out access as widely as they would have liked. One solution, according to Sue Angles, Training and Development Manager, was to team up with the TUC Learning Hub to be able to offer access 'at the desk and for people that would prefer to learn from home.'
