ICT skills at RBWM


Where a staff member has a requirement for specific application skills, this is provided on request from their line management to the corporate training section, which provides corporate wide ICT training. It is anticipated that there will be significantly more of this during and following the roll out of the new intranet. There is only general evaluation of ICT skills of staff although there are now some plans to link ICT skills to a specific standard eg ECDL, with the Social Services directorate likely to pilot the project.
