Recommendations - issues for stakeholders

e-Learning champions
  • Motivation of learners to learn and orientation.
  • Motivation of learners to use e-learning and expectations of implications for learners and for how learning is integrated into business processes.
  • Possible changing expectations of learners with greater experience of e-learning.
  • ICT skills of broader population.
  • Value of e-learning in improving ICT skills.
  • Increased integration of communications applications and different pedagogical approaches to meet preferences and challenge of providing infrastructure to support this.
  • Clarifying objectives of migration of training and development into e-learning - and implications regarding expectations of learners.
  • Engaging the immediate and local management and supervisory staff in more innovative thinking about using technology in learning and capturing creative ideas.
  • Developing more expert evaluation systems to gain improved understanding of factors influencing e-learning use.
  • Identifying business process efficiencies in design and development of e-learning and modelling design and testing processes (or requiring suppliers to demonstrate same).
  • Defining 'e-learning' and maybe re-naming a process of appropriately integrating technologies into learning and performance processes and systems - sharing definition and establishing shared meaning of same across the organisation.
