| Lewisham College has had many years of experience using learning technologies and its history is, in many ways, a microcosm of the challenge facing the whole education and training sector in the UK over the last decade: to understand and develop strategies and practices that make effective use of these technologies in a unique, changing and often very difficult environment. Their innovation, and determination to experiment and explore the opportunities that technologies can bring to their mission and to serving their traditional student body and new learners from the community in which they operate exhibits courage and leadership.
